Very fragrant deep pink or red flowers; fruits yellow and red, borne every year; densely branched, of rounded habit; native to Japan, perhaps a hybrid.

How To Start These Seeds:
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours
Stratification: Cold stratify for 60-120 days
Germination: Sow seed 1/8 inch deep , tamp the soil, mulch the seed bed
Other: Can be sown outdoors in the fall for spring germination
