Description
Foliage: Needled evergreen
Height: Grows up to 40 feet
Spread: Grows up to 30 feet
Shape: Pyramidal, sometimes with a flattened top
Growth Characteristics: Slow growing

The Lace Bark Pine has an interesting bark that is greenish-gray and appears to have patches of red, white or brown in an irregular pattern. Young trees may not exhibit different colors of bark until they are more mature. It is a good choice for a landscape, and is a bonsai candidate. Native to China.

Moisture: Mature trees tolerate drought
Soil Type: Moist, well-drained soil. Tolerates poor soil conditions.
