Height: 36-60 feet (11-18 meters)
Spread: 25-40 feet (7.6-12 meters)
Leaf: 2-4 inches (5-10 cm)
Range: Native to North America (USDA Hardiness Zones 8 through 9- most
south and southern coastal areas of the United States, west coast United
States, southern west coast of Canada.)
The Spruce Pine grows on a wide variety of even poor soils
but does best on fertile, moist, acid soils. It prefers full sun but will
grow in partial shade.

Pests include adelgids, bark beetles, pine shoot moths,
sawfly larvae, pine spittle bugs and spruce mites.
Spruce pines experience few major disease problems except for occasional
canker infections.
