The Italian Cypress has an interesting narrow columnar form with dark green foliage. Very formal and strictly vertical. Excellent choice where height is desired but not width. Native to southeastern Europe and western Asia.

Grows up to 30 feet in height and 3 to 6 feet in spread. It can be planted in zones 7 to 10. Tolerates a variety of well-drained soils and drought.
