Range: Not native to North America (USDA Hardiness Zones 10B through 11-
extreme southern Florida and extreme southern California.)
General Care Tips
Carpentaria Palms (also known as "carpy" in Australia) need plenty of
sun and moisture. Trees grow best on moist,
fertile well-drained soil. Not a drought-tolerant species. Prune sparingly.
Things to Watch For:
Insect pests include thrips. There are no serious disease
vulnerabilities.
