Scientific Name: Pinus strobus The Eastern White Pine is a beautiful landscape pine widely used throughout much of North America. It is a fast-growing species with bluish or greenish foliage depending on the individual tree. Both Maine and Michigan have chosen it as their state tree and it is the official tree of Ontario. Description Height: 50-80 feet (15-24 meters) General Care Tips The Eastern White Pine is a relatively easy tree to grow or transplant preferring moist, well-drained loams and cool conditions.
