One of the longest blooming trees with at least 60 to 80 days of continuous bloom. Large showy clusters of white and shades of pink and occasionally purple and red. Flower petals are crinkly. Tree is vigorous and hardy and is magnificent when grown in the middle of a lawn. A cluster of these will provide a flowering canopy.

Scarification: Soak in water, let stand for 24 hours
Stratification: Cold stratify for 30 days (often not required)
Germination: Sow seed 1/16 inch deep, tamp the soil, mulch the seed bed
