Use Safer Brand Garden Dust to kill and control more than 20 caterpillars and leaf-eating worms. Garden Dust uses Bacillus Thuringiensis var. Kurstaki (B.t. for short) to target these pests. This highly-selective insecticide will not target honey bees and other beneficial insects when used according to the instructions.
Safer Brand Garden Dust targets voracious a variety of hornworms, including the Tobacco Hornworm. Use Garden dust on Armyworms, Bollworms, Corn Earworms, Diamondback Moths, Ello Moth (Hornworm), Grape Leaffolders/Leafrollers, Grapeleaf Skeletonizers, Green Cloverworms, Imported Cabbageworms, Io Moths, Loopers, Melonworms, Mimosa Webworms, Oleander Moths, Omnivorous Leaf Rollers, Omnivorous Loopers, Pickleworms, Salt Marsh Caterpillars, Tobacco Budworms and Tomato Fruitworms.
Safer Garden Dust uses B.t. to stop caterpillars from chewing up your plants. B.t. is a naturally occurring bacterium that kills destructive caterpillar species. After ingestion, the B.t. stops these insect larvae from feeding in a few hours. That triggers their death a few days later from malnutrition.
Use Safer Brand Garden Dust to protect a wide variety of crops, including tomatoes, peppers, berries, corn, broccoli, cabbage, melons, spinach, cucumbers, squash and many others.
As soon as you see caterpillars on your plants, apply Garden Dust directly on its foliage. Repeat applications as needed or every 7 to 10 days afterwards. Monitor your plants since new eggs could hatch and re-infest the area. Consult label instructions for complete application details. One bottle covers up to 200 feet of row plantings.
