Sucker Stopper RTU is a plant growth regulator containing napthaleneacetate (NAA). It is designed to prevent suckering and sprout growth on trees such as apples, pears, citrus, olive, redwood and woody ornamental plants.

Do you have a tree or shrub in your yard that grows annoying suckers in the spring? Or worse, some trees sucker all year long! Well, now we have a product that will save the time spent pruning your tree or shrub.

Sucker Stopper RTU comes in a handy 16 oz ready-to-use spray bottle so all you have to do it point and shoot suckers before they sprout. Finally, something to prevent those nasty suckers before you have to spend hours cutting them off and hauling them away.

Sucker Stopper can be used to prevent suckers sprouting from the tree trunk base, to prevent root suckers or to prevent new sprouting from pruning cuts on large lateral or upright limbs.

To control trunk, basal or root suckers, prune existing parts and apply Sucker Stopper during the season or during the summer pruning season when the new sprouts are 6 to 12 inches in height. To control suckers in the vicinity of pruning cuts, treat several inches of bark around the cut.
