How It Works

The kit includes a 24-inch Bimatic carbon steel chain blade, two 25-foot lengths of rope, and a throwing weight. Instead of climbing into the tree with a gas-powered chainsaw, you toss the weight over the branch you want to remove, step aside, and pull on the ropes. The blade automatically adjusts itself to cut edge-down, and because it cuts three sides of the branch at once, the sawing action is faster than a conventional saw.
