A rare deciduous medium-sized maple. Leaves have a bright green upper surface and turn an attractive purple in fall. Upright, spreading form. Orange to red fall color. Native to Siberia, Korea and Machuria.

Manchurian Maple prefers partial to full sun and moist soils.

Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours
Stratification: Warm stratify for 120 days, cold stratify for 120 days
Germination: Sow seed 3/8 inch deep, tamp the soil, mulch the seed bed
