The Late Lilac has fragrant rosy lilac to white flowers in 3- to 6-inch clusters - often several at each branch tip. Dark green leaves and a dense, rounded habit. Blooms later than other lilacs. Native to China.
When choosing a location, keep in mind that the Late Lilac has a moderate growth rate. It grows up to 10 feet in height and 4 to 10 feet in spread. It can be planted in zones 3 to 7. Prefers partial shade to partial sun and moist, well-drained soil.
