The Flowering Ash has beautiful shiny oval leaves that follow fragrant white blossoms. It is a unique Ash tree that is best for cooler areas. Forms a dense rounded crown. Yellowish fall colour. Popular in European gardens for centuries. Landscape uses include as a lawn, shade or street tree, for difficult growing sites or in parks.

When choosing a location, keep in mind that the Flowering Ash has a moderate to fast growth rate. It grows up to 50 feet in height and 30 to 40 feet in spread. It can be planted in zones 4 to 8. Prefers full sun and moist, fertile soil.

Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 12 hours
Stratification: Warm stratify for 30 days, cold stratify for 90 days
