The Ginkgo, or Maidenhair Tree, is a graceful, attractive, deciduous, broadleaf tree related to conifers. Usually slow growing and one of the best all-season trees. Native to the U.S. millions of years ago.

How To Start These Seeds:
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 12 hours
Stratification: Cold stratify for 60 days
Germination: Can be sown outdoors in the fall for spring germination, sow 2-3 inch deep, tamp the soil, keep moist, mulch the seed bed
Other: Stratification improves germination, but is not required
