A flowering shrub or tree that can be used as a hedge screen or windbreak. Ornamental fruit, good fall colour. Drought tolerant. Has creamy white, 5-inch flat-topped flower clusters in profusion in the Spring. Sports dark green to blue green leaves, often dark red in the fall. Berries are yellow red and black with the tree often showing all three colours at the same time. A versatile and hardy tree.

Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours
Stratification: Cold stratify for 70 days
Germination: Sow seed 1/8 inch deep , tamp the soil, mulch the seed bed.
