The Bloodtwig Dogwood is a small, hardy dogwood. It has white flowers with dark red twigs in winter, blue-black fruits and reddish fall color. This shrub is multistemmed and spreading with a rounded top. An excellent choice for informal hedges.

When choosing a location, keep in mind that the Bloodtwig Dogwood has a slow to moderate growth rate. It grows up to 10 feet in height and 10 feet in spread. It can be planted in zones 4 to 7. This tree prefers partial shade or partial sun and moist, well-drained soil.
