The Chinese Juniper is a very nice evergreen with a narrow habit. Blue green needles. A narrow-leaved, large evergreen tree. Ideal for larger gardens, as this beautiful specimen needs plenty of room to grow. Excellent bonsai candidate or specimen plant.

When choosing a location, keep in mind that the Chinese Juniper has a fast growth rate. It grows up to 60 feet in height and 15 feet in spread. It can be planted in zones 4 to 9. Prefers sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. Tolerant of unfavourable soil conditions.

How To Start These Seeds:
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 12 hours
Stratification: Warm stratify for 60 days, cold stratify for 60 days
Germination: Sow seed 3/8 inch deep, tamp the soil, keep moist, mulch the seed bed.
Other: Seedlings need shade for their first year, sporadic germination will occur over a 2-3 year period
