Mosquito Dunks, 100PK

Mosquito Dunks® are small, beige, donut-shaped tablets that float on standing water. As they dissolve, they release Bti (Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis), a naturally occurring bacterium that kills mosquito larvae but is harmless to other living organisms.

Each Dunk®:

• Controls mosquito larvae for 30 days or more
• Treats up to 100 sq. ft. of surface water, regardless of depth
• Can be broken into smaller pieces for smaller areas
• Is approved for organic use

How they work:
Mosquitoes lay eggs in standing water, where larvae develop. Mosquito Dunks® act as a microbial larvicide, targeting only the larval stage. As the Dunk® floats, it slowly releases Bti at the water’s surface, which disperses throughout the water. Mosquito larvae ingest the Bti as they feed, and it eliminates them before they can mature into biting, disease-carrying adults.

Even when new eggs are laid in treated water, the larvae will consume the Bti and be controlled before reaching adulthood. The slow-release formula continues working for at least 30 days.

Where to use:
Ideal for any standing water, including rain barrels, bird baths, koi ponds, tree holes, gutters, planter reservoirs, elevator shafts, and animal watering troughs.

Safety:
Mosquito Dunks® are safe for use around people, pets, and wildlife. They can be used in drinking water for animals and are harmless to fish, birds, frogs, turtles, plants, and beneficial insects.

When to replace:
Replace every 30 days or when the Dunk® has fully dissolved.

Storage & shelf life:
Unused, dry Dunks® retain their potency indefinitely.
