General Care Tips
Bismarck Palms tolerate both sunny and partially shady conditions, although it grows fastest and has better leaf color in full sun. Trees tolerate a variety of well-drained soils and are drought and salt resistant. Prune sparingly. Avoid damaging lower trunk and roots. It is a difficult tree to transplant.
Things to Watch For
Insect pests include scales. There are no major disease problems.
