Buying online is worth it when a tree needs a product matched to its species, a specialty item a local store does not stock, or clear guidance on how much to apply. A garden center is the better choice when a product is needed the same day or when staff can look at a sample from the tree in person.

Why does it matter where tree care products are bought?

Because selection varies, and tree care products are not interchangeable. Fertilizers, root treatments, and fungicides differ in formula and in the trees they are made for, and a lawn product spread over the grass is unlikely to reach a tree's roots.

What does buying online add?

A wider choice by tree type, with coverage and guidance alongside. Choosing a tree type from 103 options tailors TreeHelp Premium Fertilizer to the tree being treated, with each bag covering one mature tree or 2 to 3 smaller ones. At planting time or when a tree is under stress, TreeHelp Biostimulant, a powder of beneficial bacteria, humic acid, and sea kelp, is dissolved and drenched over the roots. Care guides for 40 tree and shrub species sit on the same site.

When is a garden center the better choice?

When timing or hands on advice matters most. A local store suits a product needed the same day, bulky items such as mulch and soil, and questions answered by staff looking at a leaf or branch sample from the tree.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do online orders arrive in time for seasonal treatments?

Usually, when ordered a little ahead of the planned application date. Most packages ship by USPS Priority Mail or UPS Standard.

Are tree seeds easier to find online?

Often. Specialty tree and shrub seeds are seldom stocked locally, and TreeHelp's seed collection lists more than 200 seed products.

Should a sick tree be diagnosed before anything is bought?

Yes. Identifying the problem first, with a symptom checklist or a certified arborist for serious cases, avoids buying a treatment that does not fit.

Can tree care products bought online be returned?

At TreeHelp, yes, within 30 days in original condition and packaging, although seed sales are final.
