12-Room Starling-Resistant Purple Martin House

Provide a growing Purple Martin colony with a spacious nesting setup in this 12-room Purple Martin house. Starling-resistant crescent-shaped entrances help discourage unwanted starlings, while directional-facing rooms are designed to help reduce male domination behavior among Purple Martins.

Built from heavy-gauge, white, heat-reflective .040-gauge riveted aluminum and stainless steel, this house is designed with durability and bird protection in mind. The attic is fully insulated with 3/4" Styrofoam, and each large nesting room measures 6" x 6" x 12". The deep room design helps prevent owls and hawks from reaching the nest.

The modular construction allows additional floors to be added as the colony grows. A compatible 2" square pole system is sold separately and allows the house to be raised and lowered for easier access and maintenance. Extended perching rods are also available separately. Door plugs are not included with the crescent-shaped entrances.
