Build and install nesting homes for western bluebirds with this 4-Pack Western Bluebird House DIY Kit. Designed for group projects, clubs, classrooms, or families, the set includes four unassembled pine birdhouses with the precut panels, hardware, and hangers needed for construction.

Each finished house is sized for western bluebirds and features a 1.5625-inch entrance with a 0.75-inch-thick pine predator block around the opening. A sloped roof helps shield the entrance from rain, while drainage gaps in the base allow water to escape.

One side panel on each house lifts upward for nest checks and seasonal maintenance and can be secured closed with a latch. Included hangers allow the completed houses to be mounted to a wall or post. They may also be installed on T-posts or poles using compatible mounting brackets, sold separately.

Each house requires a hammer and Phillips head screwdriver for assembly. The natural pine will gradually weather to a gray tone with outdoor exposure.
