Compact 12-Bat Pine Roosting House

Create a compact roosting space for bats with this 12-Bat Pine Roosting House. Designed with a single chamber that can accommodate up to 12 bats, it offers a practical option for smaller bat colonies or for adding another shelter to an existing habitat.

The 0.75-inch-deep chamber features a rough interior and black screening to give bats secure surfaces for clinging and resting. A 0.5-inch echolocation slot on the front helps bats locate and return to the roost, while the slightly overhanging roof helps shield the interior from rain.

Constructed from eastern white pine, the house will naturally weather to a silver-gray tone over time. An attached metal hanger allows it to be mounted to a tree, building, or post.
