The Japanese Tree Lilac is the largest of the lilacs having large creamy white flower clusters. The leaves are dark green and have grayish undersides and yellow fall colour. Native to Japan. A stunning specimen tree.
When choosing a location, keep in mind that the Japanese Tree Lilac has a moderate growth rate. It grows up to 30 feet in height and 25 feet in spread. It can be planted in zones 4 to 7. Prefers full sun and well-drained, neutral to acidic soil. Tolerant of drought once established.
