Open-Front Pine Nesting Shelf for Robins & Phoebes

Offer robins, phoebes, and other compatible open-nesting birds a sheltered place to raise their young with this Open-Front Pine Nesting Shelf. Unlike enclosed birdhouses, the wide 7 x 3.75-inch front opening provides the open access these species prefer while still offering overhead protection.

The pine structure features inward-curved side panels for added visibility and a 2-inch front lip that provides a convenient perching area. A deeply sloped, overhanging roof helps direct rain away from the nesting space, while drainage holes at the back allow collected moisture to escape.

Two predrilled holes in the flat rear panel make it easy to mount the nest box to a wall, tree, or fence. It may also be installed on a pole or post using a compatible mounting plate, sold separately.
