Western Bluebird Trail Nest Box with Predator Guard

Create a secure nesting space for western bluebirds with this Western Bluebird Pine Nest Box. Designed specifically for the larger western bluebird, the box is constructed from 0.75-inch-thick pine with a naturally rough surface that gives fledglings extra grip as they move inside the nest.

The sloped, overhanging roof helps direct rain away from the nesting area, while ventilation gaps beneath the roof promote airflow and help reduce heat buildup. Drainage gaps at the corners of the floor allow moisture to escape and help keep the interior dry.

A side access panel opens for nest observation and seasonal cleaning and is secured with a metal latch when closed. The 1.5625-inch entrance is surrounded by a predator guard for added protection. The natural pine will gradually weather to a gray tone when exposed to outdoor conditions.
