Comments
Inkberry is a useful plant for moist or acid soils. The evergreen foliage and black berries are the main ornamental traits. The plant is quite tolerant of pruning. Provide shaded sites in northern growing areas.

'Chamzin' (Nordic) - A compact form reaching a height and spread of 4 feet. Reported to be very hardy.
'Compacta' - A slow grower with a wide and dense habit. The black fruits are produced in abundance.
'Compacta Shamrock' - A hardy, upright plant reaching a height of 4 feet.
'Viridis' - A fast-growing type with upright stems and a wide growth habit.
