General Care Tips
The Spruce Pine grows on a wide variety of even poor soils but does best on fertile, moist, acid soils. It prefers full sun but will grow in partial shade.

Things to Watch For
Pests include adelgids, bark beetles, pine shoot moths, sawfly larvae, pine spittle bugs and spruce mites.
