Instruction on how to apply the capsule:

Step 1 - To determine dosage, first measure the tree, to be treated, at chest height either by circumference.

Step 2- Place the capsule evenly around the base of the tree.

Step 3- At each injection drill at a 45 degree angle directly into the root flare into active xylem.

Step 4- Place the feeder tube tapered end into the hole keeping the v-notched straight up using a standard insertion tool will prevent debris from clogging the feeder tube. The capsule can be compressed by pressing the lid by both thumbs, the lock lid will snap down and lock into place.

Step 5- Place the insertion hole of the capsule on to the end of the feeder tube gently tap by rubber mallet or heel of your hand.

Step 6- Before Removing, turn the capsule upside down to make sure all of the chemical has drained.

Dosage Per Diameter Measurement:

Measure the tree at chest height in inches. Measure the circumference, then divide this number by six (6) to determine the number of micro-injectors needed. If the number of micro-injectors results in a fraction, round down to the lower whole number.

Trees in advanced stages of insect infestation may not respond to treatment. The health, species of the tree and the environmental conditions will determine the rate of uptake.

Removal of Applicator

Uptake in the tree usually occurs within several minutes. Micro-injector capsules may be temporarily rotated in place to see if any liquid is left. When empty, turn the capsules upside down for one minute before removal. It is important to remove micro-injectors promptly after treatment. Empty micro-injector capsules must not be left on the tree.
