The Oyama Magnolia is a native of Japan with 4-inch pure white bowl-shaped flowers with red stamens. The fragrant flowers are produced from late spring to late summer. Light gray bark and dark green leaves. Golden yellow foliage in autumn. Perfect for smaller scale landscapes. Outstanding!
When choosing a location, keep in mind that the Oyama Magnolia has a moderate growth rate. It grows up to 15 feet in height and 15 feet in spread. It can be planted in zones 6 to 8. Prefers partial shade and moist well-drained soil.
