Rugosa are extremely vigorous and hardy. White flowers up to 3 inches across. Fabulous scent. Hips persist into winter. Great for wildlife, winter interest, or making your garden very fragrant.

How To Start These Seeds:
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours
Stratification: Cold stratify for 90-120 days
Germination: Sow seed 3/8 inch deep, tamp the soil, keep moist, mulch the seed bed, remove mulch upon germination, can be sown outdoors in the fall for spring germination.
